Welcome to John Bright Fencing & Country Store

John Bright Fencing was formed in 1982 by John and Bridget Bright and in 2003 their daughter Beth joined the family business. Initially erecting fences was the main part of the business, but in 1994 larger premises were purchased at Salway Ash, Bridport in Dorset allowing them to open a countrystore, this site also comprises of a workshop and acts as a base for the fencing teams employed by the company.

John Bright Fencing and the team undertake all types of fencing including industrial, argicultural, domestic and garden fencing, including post and rail, stock fencing, closeboard and parkland fencing.

Fencing materials of all types are available, together with products manufactured by their carpenters in the workshop which includes a full range of gates and doors through to dog kennels and poultry houses.

From the countrystore anything can be purchased from a rabbit hutch to a pair of wellington boots... well worth a visit!

We have now opened a second site trading as John Bright Country Products based at Goulds Garden Centre, Weymouth where we have large show site selling Malvern garden buildings and sheds, poultry houses, kennels and runs, hardwood garden furniture, galvanised field gates, Iroko hardwood and Scandinavian Redwood gates.
